Watch & Pray

The Lord has put me through some experiences in life and opened my eyes- that I can now see how the spirit realm is just as accessible and is often used by the enemy to get to christians. We all are made up of the body, spirit and the soul, see.
Lust, depression, jealousy, hatred, bitterness, anger, self-pity, pride etcetera...all operate in our spirit realm. These are the range of feelings that we all are capable of and these things influence our behaviour and attitudes.
Not so long ago I thought emotions are simply that, just emotions, feelings, but recently the Lord made me realize that if we do not have Christ within- emotions can be very subtle tools for the devil.
That is the difference, see? if we have the Holy Ghost- the flesh and the spirit will submit to the inner man, Christ Himself. Then we have the power to hold every thought and imagination captive because that is our inheritance- in Christ we have overcomed. However, the Lord also instructed us to watch and pray, because the enemy does not operate in a forthright manner but they are subtle- they come in many forms such as unwanted thoughts, seeds of bitterness which can grow into full-blown hatred, feelings of self-achievement or sufficiency which can easily turn to pride especially if everyone starts to admire and notice (the one thing that caused lucifer's downfall),  jealousy, filthy thoughts and the list goes on and on.

Demons are real just as real as God is, friends and they are spirits and can access the spirit of man if they are permitted to- if they have your permission. It is simply done-if you entertain the negative thoughts and emotions, if you dwell on them and nurture them, they will grow and multiply. It takes God to burn them out of you, it takes the Holy Ghost's fire.
I know, again, to many this will sound propesterous but nevertheless it is truth and truth it will remain. I'm not saying all emotions are bad also- if Christ is inside of us- we feel joy, happiness and we  cry because we feel grateful, we shed happy tears, we feel for the lost, we have a burden for them.
Christians go through these things too and we do give in sometimes because we are still in the flesh BUT we have the mind of Christ, the Holy Ghost is in us, we have a portion of God in us. And because we are part of Him- we will overcome the flesh and the spirit. They will submit to Christ within. There is no choice, everything will submit to Jesus Christ, amen!

We have to realize and may the Lord open our eyes and ears- that we are going through a spiritual battle. It is between the spirit of God and the enemy. It has always been about that...the battle between right and wrong. Even the world knows it, all the stories, fairytales and even hero movies revolve around this theme.

From material to immaterial, from the outside man to the inner man- all of us manifests what is within, it's impossible not to. It will come out in our words, thoughts and deeds most especially. We manifest what kind of spirit we have. The question is- who is leading you?
However, if we are unsure of what spirit is inside of us, there is HOPE. Jesus Christ has been offering it to us from the beginning. Every single day comes with a chance, an opportunity to come to God and repent and turn away from our wicked ways. Every day we are being given a chance to get rid of all the demons burdening us, you can be FREE my friend.
Come to Jesus Christ, if there is one thing we need to nurture- it isn't our carnal, worldly emotions that only causes grief and heartaches but let us nurture that faith, the stirring in our hearts for God, that desire to seek Christ in a world full of despair and gloom and hopelessness. The mercy seat is still open, friend, Jesus Christ is waiting with open arms...but you have to make a choice.

Hello once again dear friends :)  I do hope all is well with you and if not I trust that you know whom to go. I didn't realize but this month is a sort of birthday month for this blog- 5 years of writing for the Lord and as the Lord leads...I really don't write anything here for the sake of blogging, I have another blog for that, but this one is for His glory, to shine the path for others. So far, with the response that I am getting for PF - the Lord is still using this space so all glory to God.
The past couple of weeks were busy for me, both good & bad kind of busy...last week we went out of town and it was a fun filled weekend and this week everybody had the sniffles and my son got sick. I am the last man standing so to speak (chuckle...) cause I haven't caught it yet, apparently there's a bug going around. So, I really haven't slept much nor rested much physically, however, the Lord is keeping me strong and all is well spiritually. By His stripes we are healed, amen, so we just have to look at that promise and own it, not just believe it by word but claim it in deed.

I am just happy, in my heart I really am...that the great God almighty always provide a way for us to continue on and live a day to day walk with Him. We make mistakes, lots of them but God just draws us back to the middle of the road- shows us where we fell and gives us the chance, the strength and the power to overcome all these faults and weaknesses. He truly has provided an exit door for every circumstance, no wonder the scripture says that His load is light.
Imagine if we do not have a God. Imagine if there is no hope to look up to, if there was no blood stained path, no Calvary. Imagine if when we all die, we just fade into oblivion somewhere. Just imagine if the future only depend on the finite, fallible knowledge of man...which I am sure will always end up in self-destruction. We would be lost.

But I am grateful that God exists and is making Himself known to mankind, I am glad that when John wept in the book of Revelations because he thought no one would open the book- Christ came and took the book. Maybe for some this truth has not sunk in for some reason or another, perhaps they think themselves too intellectual to agree but soon we will all find out, sometime in our lives we will be confronted by this truth that there is a God, that Jesus is our hope.

I am happy that for every single day that I wake up, my heart just swells with joy and every time I lay my head to rest at night I am filled with peace, despite the circumstances of living. That the joy and happiness that wells up from inside me is genuine and never ceases...I just want to praise Him even more, see. Hallelujah. That inspite of difficulties, sickness, persecutions and offence- there is someone grounding me. Someone holding on to me, someone greater than me, greater than unbelief, greater than my weaknesses but most of all greater than my own strength. I have a God who has a firm hold in my life, onto my soul, amen. That is Jesus Christ only, the greatest power of all. It just makes me want to rejoice and shout for joy :)

I do ask myself- why? you know (chuckle...). I am just a dot in the world, but to our heavenly Father, we are precious, to Him we are the most precious and beloved. Regardless of our own opinion of ourselves- that is the truth, that God loves you whether you are a christian or not because God never was a respecter of persons. He came for the sinner in fact. He knows everything about you, your cares and your worries, your quirks and habits- the Bible says even the hair in our heads are numbered (Matthew 10:30), see. So, don't feel like you're punching on air when you utter a prayer or read your Bible or you exert effort in getting a closer walk with Christ- because He knows and He sees. In fact, that desire came from Him anyway.

I just so thank Jesus that now my eyes are opened to His ways and to His great love for us...that alone is priceless. That same path is open for every single one of us and not just a few- so take that chance, a life changing opportunity. Let Jesus Christ fill that void in your life and allow Him to take away that burden from you... He is just there waiting.

The Great I Am

Midweek services really are good for the soul, it's really good to get together at the Father's table and just eat the Word that is being broken. I also enjoy touching base with everybody at church, somehow we all feel closer and very much like family- and because we truly are anyway.
A sister at church was sharing her testimonies to me about how the Lord was looking after her and how her needs are being met even without asking for it and she said 'I feel spoilt!' to which I replied- 'He has that effect', and we both laughed. It is such a blessing to know how God is towards His Bride, amen. He just makes us all feel special and loved and cared for, it is amazing. Our great God is amazing.
He not only looks out for the gaping void or the emergency situations but He also looks after the smallest detail in our lives with the intent of blessing us or teaching us- all profitable things for us. He is ever present and within reach always.
I still cannot fathom how that great Creator in heaven, the great 'I am' decided to live in the human heart- I guess the wonderment of it all will never really cease to amaze all of us. With all the splendor and outstanding beauty of his dimension where He is living, He came down and hid Himself in the flesh. He changes His mask, what the theologians refer to as 'en morphe' and in our day and age- He decided to manifest Himself through His Bride, not just as a reflection but a portion of Him is in us...living through us, speaking through us, and will eventually enable us to disrobe this flesh and just slip into our glorified bodies- in His time.
It's glorious isn't it? from the fall to the plan of redemption, resurrection, the gift of the Holy Ghost, the church ages and the prophets, all the way to the seventh seal, the Bride age, the written Word...it is all planned and everything is under God's control and timing. It is perfect. So really we need to trust Him because He holds everything.

The message tonight was really beneficial for me as I find myself in a lull these days and I was praying for a refreshing. School work is sucking me in really bad since I am in my last year of study but I am not at all comfortable with that...I need my prayer time, my worship time with my God. The message talked about not giving in to enticing spirits, demons whose only aim is to distract us from knowing who we are in Christ, from serving God, from obeying His word. It was about the fact that we are being led by something- whether it be of the Lord or not and it is our choice...that we should not give place to the devil because once we do- it gives them permission to take over. Hmmm, terrible eh? however it is scriptural and it is truth. I so agree.
It reminds me to not slip off into complacency, that there is a spiritual battle going on and we have to be on alert and ready. I am glad that the Lord reminded me about these things...
He also talked about how it is important to align ourselves to God's word in order for Him to work in us, that the key lies in obedience because His blessing will follow. That was such an encouragement.
The scripture in Matthew 6:33- 'But seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you...' is just so true and has become reality to me and many, many others. God's promises were never a myth, nor fairytales- they are truth and He keeps them. Amen.
All glory to God in the highest.
